Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue is an American animated drug prevention television special starring many of the popular cartoon characters from American weekday, Sunday morning and Saturday morning television at the time of this film's release. Financed by McDonald's and Ronald McDonald Children's Charities, the special was originally simulcast on April 21, 1990 on all four major American television networks: ABC, NBC, FOX and CBS, and most independent stations, as well as various cable networks. McDonald's also distributed a VHS home video edition of the special, produced by Buena Vista Home Video, which opened with an introduction from President George H. W. Bush, and First Lady Barbara Bush. The show was produced by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation and Southern Star Productions, and was animated overseas by Wang Film Productions Co., Ltd.. The plot chronicles the exploits of Michael, a teenager who is using marijuana and stealing his father's beer. His younger sister, Corey, is worried about him because he started acting differently. When her piggy bank goes missing, her cartoon tie-in toys come to life to help her find it. After discovering it in Michael's room along with his stash of drugs, the various cartoon characters proceed to work together and take him on a fantasy journey to teach him the risks and consequences a life of drug-use can bring and save the world.
Gosei Sentai Dairanger is a Japanese tokusatsu television series. It was the seventeenth production in the long-running Super Sentai franchise of television tokusatsu dramas produced by Toei Company, following Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger. It was originally broadcast from February 19, 1993 to February 11, 1994. Toei gave this series the name Star Rangers for international distribution. Elements from Dairanger were adapted into the second season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, specifically the action sequences between the giant robots and the villains. None of the Dairanger costumes were used in Power Rangers, except Kiba Ranger's, which was adapted into the White Ranger's costume from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: the suits from Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger were instead used for the other Rangers in that show.
Engine Sentai Go-onger is the title of Toei Company's thirty-second Super Sentai series of Japanese tokusatsu television series. It premiered on February 17, 2008, a week following the finale of Juken Sentai Gekiranger, and ended on February 8, 2009. It aired as part of TV Asahi's 2008 Super Hero Time block alongside Kamen Rider Kiva. Its footage was used for the American series Power Rangers RPM and was dubbed into Korean for Power Rangers Engine Force. The catchphrase for the series is "Rushing by at full-throttle mach speed, our slogan is 'go on!'".
Kousoku Sentai Turboranger is the thirteenth entry of Toei Company's Super Sentai series. The first Super Sentai title of the Heisei period, it was aired on TV Asahi on February 25, 1989 to February 23, 1990 with a total of 51 episodes. And it was the first series to air on Fridays instead of Saturdays. Its international title in English as listed by Toei is Turbo Rangers. During its initial run, Turboranger was the 11th Super Sentai and billed as the 10th anniversary title of the Super Sentai series. However, in 1995, Himitsu Sentai Gorenger and J.A.K.Q. Dengekitai officially became the first two Super Sentai series; thus making Turboranger the 13th in the franchise.
